  • MIB management rules.
  • Scalar versus tabular data.
Hands-on work
Using basic command line tools to query an SNMP agent. Using Net-SNMP Open Source software. Analyzing data encoding. Comparison of Get and Get-next verbs. Using a graphical MIB Browser.
